I'm not your 12-year old nephew or your next-door neighbor who thinks designing your website would be a neat, fun project this week. Then, after butting heads with the huge learning curve involved, they make a poor initial design that isn't navigable, with a color palette that doesn't suit you, that has lots of extraneous elements on each page, and that takes a long time to download. Then they never complete and follow through on your project. I've heard this and many similar stories.
